googleFu make searching the internet easier. It ads a few options in the Firefox browser for quick and more precise searching with Google.

There are few ways to use the googleFU extension depending of what are you doing. For example, lets say that you are reading an article and want to quick search for some word or phrase. You can select the term and just double tap control key (if you are useing windows or linux) or double command key on Mac. This will automatically search google for that term. If you double click the control key (or command on Mac) without any selected text, that will open "about:search" page and will position the focus in the search field.
Also you can use some of the Custom Search Engines that comes with googleFU extension. There are build in search engines for torrents, music (mp3 etc...), video and books (pdf, chm files).
You can use them directly from google page. Just go to www.google.com and point the magnifier icon next to main search field. That will open a menu with the build in search engines.
This menu can also be used from the "about:search" page.
You can also search directly within the address bar.
